Last show of the year in Iceland

Last weekend we had he last show of the year in Iceland.

Birthe Scheel from Denmark was judging and our dogs did quite ok. Three Hálsakots puppies were shown in puppy class 6-9 months and all of them got honor price. Hálsakots Dream Another Dream "Stjarna" was third best puppy.

Also all of our adults got excellent which I was happy with since the judge weren´t really giving that grade to everybody. 45 papillons were entered. Our ISCH Silenzio's Theresia "Phoebe" was BOS and BOB was Royal Ice Ekvador, sire to our current litter, he also became an Iceland champion that day.

Hálsakots Flamin' Hot 'N' Gorgeous "Icarus" was 4th best male

Muffin was 5th best male but he was not in a show mood at all

Next were the poodles, my ISCH Kudos Gagarin "Chandler Bing" was BOB. Poodle judge was Svend Lövenkjær

And then he was the first poodle since 1997 to win group 9 in Iceland! I was so proud of him! Group judge was Vincent O 'Brian

Chandler became the third in his litter of 5 to be a group winner, the 4th sibling has a group 2nd and group 4th win. Congratulations to Kudos poodles!

We have got puppies by Candygolds Minette "Minnie" and Royal Ice Ekvador "Erró". They were born the 1st of September so they are 2 weeks old now and have just opened their eyes.

The first all breed double show in Iceland were 22-23 of August and of course we entered some dogs both days and were very very busy! Papillons had the biggest entry the breed has had in Iceland, 44 papillons.

On Saturday Marie Peterson judged papillons and phalenes. The day started well, CIB NORDCH DKCH SUCH ISCH Amber got BOB phalene, actually the only one but with a great critic. In puppies 6-9 months we had the three puppy bitches from our last litter after Ída and Patti and it went really well in a big class the sisters were placed 1st, 2nd and 4th! Hálsakots Dream A Little Dream "Netta" did then become BIS puppy in a huge competition!

Hálsakots Hot Gossip got excellent and 2nd in open class, Hálsakots Feeling Hot Hot Hot got excellent and 1st in youth class and Hálsakots I Me And My Dream got Excellent and 3rd in youth class.

Our ISCH Silenzio's Theresia "Phoebe" was second best bitch but only 5 bitches and 3 males got CK that day.

Afghan judge was Kari Järvinen and our Do We Really Need Thirteen "Diesel" got excellent and second in open class.

Poodle judge was Åke Crondander which gave our ISCH Kudos Gagarin "Chandler" BOB.

On Sunday papillon and phalene judge was Carl Gunnar Stafberg. Amber did again win BOB phalene with a great critic. And Netta repeated the win from the day before and went all the way. Her sister Hálsakots Dream Another Dream "Stjarna" was 2nd best puppy bitch both days.

This time Phoebe was BOB, Hálsakots Hot Gossip 2nd best male, Hálsakots Flamin´Hot ´N´Gorgeous 3rd best male.
Hálsakots Feeling Hot Hot Hot 2nd in youth class with excellent, Hálsakots I´m Your Angel Dream 3rd in youth class with excellent.

Åke Cronander judged afghans this time and Diesel ended as 4th best male with CK.

Kari Järvinen also gave BOB to Chandler.

Then three of our papillons were eye checked, Denemore Forevertreasure, Hálsakots Finding Hot Love and Hálsakots I Me And My Dream and all of them were clear.

So we were quite satisfied and very tired after this weekend!

National show in Reykjavík

The 27th and 28th of June we had a national show here in Iceland.

Our poodle Kudos Gagarin "Chandler" went to his third show, winning his 3rd CC and BOB, becoming an Icelandic champion! Judge was Svein Helgeson from Norway. I have unfortunatly not a photo from the show.

In papillons Hálsakots Dream Another Dream "Stjarna" became BOB puppy and 3rd best puppy 6-9 months of the day, her sister Hálsakots Dream A Little Dream "Netta" became second best bitch puppy, also with HP.

BOS with CC was Hálsakots I´m Your Angel Dream "Akíra", ISCH Silenzio's Theresia was 4th best bitch. Hálsakots Something To Talk About and Candygolds Minette also got CK.

BOB with CC was Hálsakots Flamin´ Hot 'N´ Gorgeous "Icarus", also winning the group only one and a half year old! 3rd best male was Hálsakots Hot Gossip.

Hálsakots breeders group was the best breeders group of the day and Silenzio's Theresia had the best progeny group of the day.
